Miami Mojo: Because One Dose of Magic Isn't Enough......

Hmm, so what's the easiest way to extend your vacation?

Simple & Sweet: Rise and shine early🌞🌞

Well simple yes but not at all sweet if you have teenage kids and a nagging wife..

Wife:"Ab vacation pe 5 baje uthna pade toh vacation thodee naa huee..Vacation hai yaa koi race."

Kid 1: "Bro, this is not fair.. who wakes up at 5 on a  vacation."

Kid 2 exasperated: "Do we even have to go to Miami...Why????"

Grudgingly all 3 squeeze in the early morning Uber ride giving menacing stares to the only person who is happy as a clam."Wait till you feel the Miami Breeze at 10:30 am"  our travel planner/husband/dad retorts gleefully.✈ ✈

Satya vachan

From the cold winters of the Northeast to the tropical breeze of Miami in less than 3 hours...The palm trees felt like paradise on touch down. In a minute all the grudges of the early morning flight were gone. Having the whole day to spend in Miami felt blissful.

Travel Gyaan-1:Take early morning flights. There will be a lot of resistance πŸ‘ΏπŸ‘Ώ but stick to your grounds.🧘🏻‍♂️

We checked into an Airbnb spacious apartment with dedicated parking, just 2 blocks away from the iconic South Beach..

Travel Gyaan-2: Forego the branded hotels and give an Airbnb or it's like a block or 2 away, a try. We were right in the middle and yet not in the mayhem. Worth a Memory 😊😊

Teens, Tans & Tales of Tropi Cool Travels:
  • Hard Rock Stadium:

Though the stadium is not open for public viewing, fortunately, we secured tickets for an event the following day. My son, an avid Miami Dolphins fan, was thrilled to bits. The stadium, designed in a beautiful blue hue, was both massive and stunning.

Travel Gyaan-3: Kehte hain agar kisi cheez ko dil se chaho..blah blah blah.. .to puri kainaat usse tumse milane ki koshish mein lag jaati hai-Om Shanti Om. You get the point..:-) You never know what or whom you meet when you travel

  • 7 mile Bridge Enroute Key West

We started the nearly 4 hour long drive to the KeyWest early in the morning. Surprisingly without any grudges and "why do we have to do this?" rant.. The nagging wife and tantrum-throwing teens were up and ready without any fuss in the morning. The drive is breath taking as it as it leads through various Florida Keys.

A pit stop at Robbies Of Islamorada provided the thrill the teenagers were seeking. Feed the tarpons while the resident pelicans vie for the snack and your attention.πŸ™„
An amusing spectacle of sorts..

Some smiles and laughters galore
As the pelican snatch away the snack...
Feeding the tarpons seem like an art
Which all of us clearly this day lack...

Hallelujah!!! We wind our way through the Florida keys and reach Keywest. Still reeling from the aftereffects of the adventure of feeding the tarpons the triathlete kids and dad decide to bike through the streets of Keywest while sightseeing..Though the bike ride started rather clumsily for me but it was a unique experience..Took me back to my childhood days of going everywhere on the bike, parking it, locking it, and all the jibber-jabber.

As we biked our way to the southernmost point of the continental US we experienced a rare sight. The bikers of the "WaterFalls to Waves" Charity Ride had just completed their 1,817-mile ride from Niagara Falls to the Keywest. We crossed them on our way to Keywest and wondered where these bikers came from and where were they going. And here we were standing witnessing their jubilant achievement as their family members hugged and posed for photographs.

Travel Gyaan-4: Nothing is impossible to those who believe

After the quaint and picturesque Keywest, Billionaire's river  cruise with it's final glamor ka tadka

and a stroll and Dinner at Esponala way sealed the trip.

Travel Gyaan-5: The best part of traveling is returning home-albeit a bit more enriched and tanned πŸ˜ŽπŸŒž
